Storage may be available on the premises for any items relating to your event and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
On-site parking is available for up to 50 vehicles. Remaining vehicles to be parked on Page Avenue and Ferry Street.

The Derwent Valley Boat House has WIFI with fibre to the node (minimum download/upload speed of 25/5 Mbps).
The following equipment is available in-house:

Additional audio-visual requirements can be arranged through an external AV supplier. A dedicated technician can be arranged for the duration of your event. POA
The Derwent Valley Boat House is a fully licenced premises and operates by the Liquor Act 1990. All beverages consumed during a conference/seminar must be, under state licencing laws, supplied by the Derwent Valley Boat House and may not be brought in from other sources. Any guest supplying their own alcohol will be required to leave the premises immediately.
The Derwent Valley Boat House offers in-house catering. To ensure the highest standard of service and quality, all food and beverage service for each event must be provided by Derwent Valley Boat House/New Norfolk Rowing Club.
External or self-catering is not permitted.
The Derwent Valley Boat House is a non-smoking premises. Smoking is not permitted on the grounds at any time.
Access to the event for setting up can be arranged. Please discuss with DVBH.
Maximum capacity is 200 for a stand-up cocktail style event or 120 for a seated event.

Yes, there is an internal lift to Level 1 and wheelchair accessible toilet facilities.
By New Norfolk Rowing Club policy, the Derwent Valley Boat House does not hold 18th or 21st Birthday celebrations. Other birthday celebrations will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
To confirm your event at the Derwent Valley Boat House an initial and non-refundable deposit is payable at the time of booking, in addition to a signed copy of the Booking Confirmation Form and Terms and Conditions. A security deposit/bond may also be required which will be fully refunded within 14 days of the event taking place unless otherwise determined.
A Surcharge may apply to the final account for functions/events held on a Sunday or Public Holiday, this will be included in your quotation.

Derwent Valley Boat House staff will set the room for your event.
General cleaning fees are covered in the venue hire. If it is deemed that there is additional cleaning required following your event, additional cleaning fees will be applicable and deducted from your security deposit. Please see Terms and Conditions.
