The Derwent Valley Boat House is located on the River Derwent on the Esplanade at New Norfolk. You will find the iconic, colorful and picturesque river as a backdrop for your wedding at one of Tasmania's newest and most beautiful wedding venues. Ceremonies can be held in the venue or on the boat house lawns.
The modern space will accommodate up to 120 guests.

The Derwent Valley Boat House offers in-house catering.
To ensure the highest standard of service and quality, all food and beverage service for events is provided by the Derwent Valley Boat House/New Norfolk Rowing Club.
External or self-catering is not permitted.

**By New Norfolk Rowing Club policy, the Derwent Valley Boat House does not hold 18th or 21st Birthday functions.
Other birthday celebrations will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
